M. Schwartz Quantum Field Theory and the Standard Model, Cambridge Univ Press, 2013. This just came out. It has a very good selection of topics, and I'm finding it very readable, though it's not as deep as Weinberg's Field Theory. It seems like a good place to first read about a topic. This contains a very accessible lecture by Feynman, "The Reason for Antiparticles," giving an intuitive explanation for why antiparticles, as well as the spin-statistics theorem, are essential ingredients in relativistic field theory. S. Weinberg, The Quantum Theory of Fields (Three volumes), Cambridge University Press, 1995 - 2000. This is the other text that A&H refer to for more information. G.
