Hi Fred!

I am including a few attachments that you may or may not feel is
appropriate for distribution. With the new TAKS test, we have been
"charged" by our district to align vertically and "horizontally" to
better help our kids. While I do not believe in teaching to a test, I
am thrilled that we are finally getting to the point where we will use
the same terminology, rules, etc.  from 9-12 grades.  Anyway, PISD has
given me permission to share. My campus is under renovation and I
don't have access to a copier but...if someone at SMU can copy these,
I will be happy to talk about them. These are very early endeavors and
I hope to add some modern physics stuff to it. Right now however, we
are focusing on basic skills. Even if you don't think these are
appropriate to post, I would sincerely like your input and critiques
on what we have produced. Ultimately, folks like you ( if my kids are
that lucky) will be getting these students and we would like to know
that what we are doing at high school will help you and your
colleagues. There are more that we will be developing this summer and,
once again, if you think they are worthy, I will share those too.  ANY
critiques are welcome...

Kris
