1. Correct the error in Kittel 2.1b) and c) if the planes are supposed to intersect the crystal axes at lattice sites.

2. What is the distance between (2,3,3) planes in the sc lattice? [This is also the distance from the origin to the (2,3,3) plane.]

3. Construct a 3-dimensional card stock paper model of the Wigner-Seitz cell for the fcc lattice. What is the name of this solid? (Plans are available on the interwebs.)
