- p12 - Figure 14 caption - one of the (100) should be (100).
- p30 - Figure 6 - The phase factor under the outgoing beam should be e^(i k' . r) - prime is missing on k.
- p36 - text between eq (30) and eq (31) - "We have, using (28)," should be "We have, using (29),".
- p39 - equation (40) - under the sum, "j-1" should be "j=1".
- p42 - Equation (50) - the last "=" sign should be deleted; sin(Gr)/Gr is part of the integrand.
- p43 - Problem 1 - d(hkl) is not correct if the planes must intersect the crystal axes at lattice sites; d(hkl) should be multiplied by the least common multiple of (h,k,l). For example, in the sc lattice d(2,3,3) is 6a/sqrt(22), not a/sqrt(22).
- p58 - In Figure 6 the curve minimum should touch the horizontal line U(R)/ε = -1 at R/σ = 1.12.
- p61 - Figure 8 lower right corner - change "Cohesive energy" to "Lattice energy".
