Introductory Mechanics PHYS 1303 -001
Spring 2020
LECTURER: Dr. Simon Dalley
Coronavirus Updates
After spring break the course will continue remotely every Tu/Th 9:30-10:50 am, until the
end of the semester, in the following way:
·
Quizzes will be posted as Assignments in Canvas, available 9:30
am-10:00 am, and you will upload an image of your work by 10:00 am. These will
be annotated/graded and returned to you via Canvas.
·
At 10:00 am I will start a lecture by Zoom (meeting ID 477-628-4599).
I anticipate it will look like the in-person class in real time with my notes
and use of PollEverywhere. So you will need to log in
to Zoom and PollEverywhere.
·
WileyPlus assignments and
deadlines will continue as usual.
·
I will have office hours by Zoom (meeting ID 477-628-4599) every
Tu/Th 4-5pm.
·
The TAs will be holding office hours by Zoom (meeting ID 277
790 130) every Tu/Thu 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
·
Test Two (Apr 2) will be a multiple choice "quiz"
assignment in Canvas timed to coincide with the class time. I will also
have Zoom on in case of questions.
All times above are US Central. I will make subsequent
announcements in Canvas. Email is the quickest way to contact me.
