------------------------------------------------------------------- Workshop on Physics Potentials at FNAL with Stronger Proton Sources -------------------------------------------------------------------- Dates: June 6-7, 2001 Location: FNAL Purpose: This workshop is designed to bring together theorists and experimentalists interested in the physics potential of a new high intensity proton source (~1MW) in the U.S. It is anticipated that such a facility could be the basis of a high quality U.S. based physics program especially during the period between the LHC startup and the commissioning of the next major U.S. facility. Speakers will be invited to describe how such a machine might be exploited to answer fundamental physics questions complementary to those addressed by the LHC. The goal is to prepare a strong case for such a facility in time for Snowmass. Study group led by Weiren Chou (FNAL), Peter Kasper(FNAL), and Mayda M. Velasco (Northwestern Univ.)
