  • All public and private school students, grades 7-12, from Collin, Dallas, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties (TEA Region 10) are eligible to enter.
  • The dates of the DRSEF are Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25, 2007. The deadline for entry registration is Wednesday, February 21, 2007. Please plan your school fair accordingly.
  • This year we shall again use on-line registration. If you have questions, contact the DRSEF Directors: Randy Scalise (214) 768-2504, Fred Olness (214) 768-2500.

  • Beal Bank is also sponsoring the trip to the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, May 13–19, for our eligible DRSEF winners and adult sponsors!
  • As part of Toyota's ongoing commitment to science education, ten exceptional teachers who have successful students at the 2007 DRSEF will be eligible to win a $500 Toyota Teacher Award.
  • As part of its long-term commitment to excellence in science, engineering, and mathematics, SMU welcomes the opportunity to reinforce the importance of learning, experimentation, and healthy competition. SMU is offering an $18,000 scholarship to all senior division grand-prize winners.
