Undergraduate Research Assistant Positions at SMU
The positions are available on a rolling basis with a variety faculty in our department. Faculty determine their own availability and opportunities. To identify such opportunities, you should speak with faculty whose research may interest you (investigate this from our Department Research Summary Page).
In addition to course credit, the university provides mechanisms for financially supporting your research, funding from the faculty member notwithstanding. For instance, there are University Research Assistant (URA) and Summer Research Assistant (SRA) programs, and distinguished researcher efforts such as the Hamilton Research Scholar and Engaged Learning programs.
