Recitation section grading policy

For each recitation section you will be able to earn no more than 3 r.s.* points. Depending on the day it could either be for attendance (only 1 pts.) or for small quiz (0-3 pts.). You will not be aware in advance what kind of grading will be in particular day to escape cheating. Maximum number of r.s. points will be published at the end of semester, taking this into the account all your earned points will be normalized to general course points and then rounded to near integer value.

Attendance of recitation section as well as solving quizzes is voluntary.

For example :

You have earned 15 r.s. points from maximum of 30.

Then

30 r.s.* pts. = 15 general course points
10 r.s.* pts. = X general course points

X = (10 * 15) / 30 = 5 general course points

Thus you have earned 5 general course points
