You will receive your wireless credentials (userid & password) in your registration packet. You then need to fiddle with your network configuration switches, the details depend on your machine's OS, in order to connect to SMU's "PerunaNet." The configuration details are listed below. In an effort to reduce paper wastage, please print out the single sheet relevant for you. (If you forget, a copy will be provided you at on-site registration.)
Windows XP. Ignore the comment about "Residence Hall."
Windows Vista. (Does anyone actually use this?)
Windows 7.
Mac 10.5 & 10.6. (The sheet says "Leopard" but works for "Snow
Leopard" as well.)
Linux. A smörgåsbord.
