Apply for Graduate Studies in Physics

Admission/Financial Aid

Applications for admission to our graduate program must include the following to receive full consideration:

  • Transcripts of your college/university education.
  • [Optional for 2022-23 applications] Graduate Record Exam (GRE) general and subject (physics) exam scores. The Physics GRE is only offered periodically, so please plan ahead. (NOTE: the Physcs GRE requirement is waived for the 2022-23 applications cycle.)
  • When applicable, your TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) score.
  • Letters of recommendation.
  • A personal statement describing your interests and goals, as well as any relevant past experience.
